The content was interesting but the pace was slow. I may try it again in the near future when I am less busy.

Excellent and informative book! Lots of fun facts but also definitely provides lots to think about regarding the spectrum of gender and sex. The author also has a great reading voice!

An excellent study on sex bias in evolutionary biology- a topic I have to admit I never considered before! Cooke's case studies are fascinating and I won't think about some animals in the same way again (especially the meerkat). It's extremely informative but also light-hearted and I was surprised by how funny I found it. I also had a great thrilling everyone around me with all my new learnt fun animal facts.
