This Black Bulter volume contained humorous moments that I could appreciate it, more so than the others, thus granting it 3 stars. If it weren't for that, the bland subplot of following up on the murderer would have earned this book two stars.

The introduction of Indian culture to Black Butler is also interesting. The analogy between the Indian prince's background and lifestyle to that of Ciel's is a good subplot.

Rating Update 4/9/19- 3 stars to 2 stars. Because of the criticisms mentioned above, it lowers the rating to 2 stars. I was not a fan of the Indian culture placement in Black Butler, and the humor can't save it.

Update 14 June 2019
With the adoption of my new rating system, a two star rating is befitting. The original rating and review conform to the new rating system. Having read the synopsis of the chapters in the volume, I am reminded of the boring plot (the Englishmen murders in East End, the duel between Agni and Sebastian, and the discovery of Agni's involvement in the murders) that would have earned a one star rating were it not for the humorous moments.

Update
I have changed the color of the rating from yellow to green with a grey outline. In finalizing my rating system, I am going to use my current memories, read the synopsis of the entire volume synopsis on the Wikipedia page titled "List of Black Butler chapters", rely on the original review, and trust the previous update's reliance of the synopsis of each chapter on the fandom site to ascertain the rating. I have decided not to read each chapter on the fandom site since this was time consuming and my previous readings of the chapter summaries and analysis of them, that can be found in updates of each Black Butler volume, are well assessed.

With all this in mind, the two star-rating seems like a good choice. The original review was instrumental in deciding this rating. Also, I cannot recall if I disliked reading the sections I mentioned as finding boring, to the point of a one star-rating, which would most likely lower the rating of the volume.

I can not ascertain whether "I was not a fan of the Indian culture placement in Black Butler", as the rating update from April 9, 2019, states. Correlating the old rating system with the current one, this book would have perhaps received a one star-rating since the original review states this: "If it weren't for that [the humor], the bland subplot of following up on the murderer would have earned this book two stars". Though I would not say that it would earn one star, this is a weak two star-rated book.
