This book was such an incredible and light hearted read. It was fast paced and hilarious. I can't decide which main character I like more because Jamie and Pippa are both incredible. Stephanie Archer's books never miss. Thanks so much for letting me read this book in advance. I'm so excited for the next book

2.7 ✨ honestamente creo que fue un poco cringe para mi, y simplemente los personajes no fueron los suficientemente interesantes para atraparme

Am I a hockey smut girl now? First book I’ve read in the genre. It is very lighthearted, mostly happy smut. There’s no dark romance or anything like that. But it’s actually what I love about. A slow burn, sexy love story with realistic smut. I’m in and will be reading the whole series! 🏒💕

cute, pero muy largooo

Let me just start this off by saying that Jamie is T H E perfect book boyfriend! He’s everything Pippa could want, supportive and sweet and just the right amount of broody. Perfect. Chefs kiss. A beautiful character.

Pippa was relatively great. Smart, charismatic, talented, determined. Her personality fell a little bit flat for me though. I felt like her only real personality traits were that she loved music and she loved Jamie. Which is fine, but I feel like there could’ve just been more to her than “I want to be Mrs. Streicher, the famous pop star”

The B plot with Jamie’s mom was only kiiiiiind of interesting to me, I found myself getting really bored of the repetition.

And this is NOT a hockey book. If you’re in to hockey romances for bits of hockey action sprinkled in, this isn’t it. The author doesn’t convey more than a few paragraphs in the whole book about actual hockey games. (Which if hockey action isn’t your thing there’s no worries, ignore this part lol) This isn’t a complaint just an observation!
