I was super excited for this book because the plot sounded great. That was about it. Too long. Too boring. The excitement I had for this boom turned to disappointment real quick. It took me a few days to actually get interested in the story and plot and I forced myself to read on because I thought it had to get better. And it didn’t.
4.5* - A perfect mix of fashion and espionage. A wonderful story of post WWII Paris and the Italian front during the war. I thought character development was great for both the main and ancillary characters. I also really enjoyed learning some about the very early days of Christian Dior.
