Pretty Playboy is the 8th book in the Chicago Suits series. Each story centers around individual couples and can be read in any order.
The characters in Pretty Playboy are both great. They both have a soft heart to help those less fortunate and have very strong convictions.
That being said, although I enjoyed this novel, I felt like it was missing more conflict. Once one conflict was resolved I felt like I was just waiting and waiting for the proverbial shoe to drop and that took ages.
Thus story is needed and feels like it is completing an even bigger storyline and I can't wait to read the rest.

This is the last book in the series and what a amazing way to end it. Loved the storyline, the flow of the book and especially loved Penn and Campbell, their banter was fantastic and their chemistry was hot and scorching!!!

So Penn is the kind of guy that drives you crazy with his over confidence and 'will not take no for an answer' attitude, but also has a sweeter side that will make your ovaries explode. Campbell is a take no prisoner, cold hearted and screwed where her career is concerned, but also has a heart of gold and always looking out for the little people in the workforce. While she has no time for romance or relationships, Penn sets his sight on her and won't stop until he gets what he wants. There is a lot of banter between them, which is fun to watch. Him constantly pushing her buttons. Things are starting to go pretty great between them, but one email sends him into a rage and all hell breaks loose. While this is part of a series, each book can be read as a stand alone without any issues. You will see many of the characters featured in the other books. This is also the last book in this series, but there is an underlying storyline (not related to the romance) that will be the start of a new spin off series. There are plenty of laughs, a little anguish, a little heartbreak, and a lot of steam. (Suitable for mature readers.) While the entire book was quite enjoyable, it became especially hard to put down during the last 30%. Also has a bit of a cliffhanger in regards to that underlying storyline I mentioned earlier. The romance itself has a HEA.

*I received an ARC of this book.

Penn may just now be my favorite of the series... talk about some hawt chemistry between him and Campbell. From the first chapter to the end Penn just completely woo’s Campbell. From his smirk to his excellent hands she just can’t seem to get enough of this pretty playboy.

Favorite line from book: Did he just fuck me with nothing but words?

What did I like? Pretty cute read! I adored Penn! Campbell starts out like an ice queen but Penn melts all her ice. Everything was such fun... from their dates to the hawt alone time ...these two were perfect for each other. The banter between them made me smile and yet sad... another playboy down.

Would I buy or recommend! Yes! If you haven’t started this series then you are missing out. It’s fun and flirty but ends in a HEA! I received an ARC but voluntarily left a review. Five stars! Can’t wait for the next one guys!

Pretty Playboy was a little bittersweet for me at first. I knew going in that this was supposed to be the last in the series, and it was kind of sad to think about saying goodbye. Fortunately, I can go back and revisit these fabulous couples from time to time.
And with that, we'll move on to Penn and Campbell. These two start out with an enemies to lovers vibe - that lasts about a hot minute. There are many things these authors have done very well through this series, but a couple of those things always stand out: banter and sexual chemistry. Both are positively brilliant between this couple, and the more they banter, the thicker the sexual tension gets. You just can't read this one without wanting these two together. Of course, there's a bit of angst, and the Collins romance expert has to step in, but like always, Sloane and Alex take us where we want to go.
Finally, we come to the series epilogue, which I can't really go on about without spoiling it. So, I'll just say it was emotional. I'm not gonna go into what kind of emotions, but definitely emotional. This series has been nothing short of terrific from the very first page of the very first book. If you've read any of it, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't - What are you waiting for? It's a whole series of must-reads with characters you just can't get enough of.

I loved the back and fourth from Penn and Campball, they are so good together and the chemistry was amazing. The story itself was really good, I was glued to my iPad. Another awesome read from Alex and Sloane!

I liked Campbell from the start. I knew that she was not going to make things easy for Penn and she didn't. Penn did not back down from the challenge though!! I wish that I could talk about more that happened in this book because there were so many "awww" and "yes" moments. The dates that he took her on were amazing with so much thought put into them. I am on the edge of my seat though with that ending!! My jaw was literally on the floor!! Buckle up...we are in for a bumpy ride.
I received an ARC and promised to leave an honest, unbiased review.

This is the last book in the Cocky Suits Chicago series and I think it's my fave. Penn and Campbell are perfect together.

Campbell is a strong, independent woman who fights for the safety of others as a Union rep. She comes across as a tough a nails character but she has a ginormous heart. Campbell is determined to push Penn away when she first meets him but she can't resist his attention.

Penn is an arrogant, cocky, sexy, and protective guy. He know what he wants and goes after it with no holds barred.... and he wants Campbell.

They really are the perfect couple and compartment each other well. They face a challenge but with Dexter's help, they reconcile and get their HEA.

Definitely recommend this book. I can't wait to continue the Cocky Suits stores in New York.
