I just adore them as a couple so much. They're so real and obviously hilarious, so a book with both of them is just a riot of a good time obviously. I'm forever obsessed with Nick's love for Megan and how eloquently he expresses it. And the way she makes him giggle!!! Stop it's so cute.

I really think this book would be best read as an audiobook WITH the physical. There's a bonus audio chapter, and the chapter where they have pictures in the book they hilariously describe in the audio.

Some really interesting parts or parts that I extra liked were about Megan in general because I didn't really know much about her backstory (apparently she's a huge reader) and the part about their dogs and how they do puzzles and listen to audiobooks together to keep things fresh lol. Oh and sexism in the entertainment industry with them as a perfect example of how it manifests.

My only deduction is super personal to me--I am very asexual and they are very much not 😂 so that chapter got a bit uncomfy for me.

Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman discuss a variety of topics in a jokey way through the lense of their relationship together. I don't really know either of them and I've only seen Nick in Last of Us and a few eps of Parks and Rec so I'm probably not the demographic for this. It was fun but I didn't feel ~changed~ from it or learn anything substantial.

If you enjoy these two you will love this book. I listened to the audiobook and it was a lot of fun hearing them tell their story.

This book had me cackling. Nick and Megan are both absolutely hilarious, as we know from their many acting credits. One thing I learned from this book, though, is how very wise and down-to-earth they are. Listening to this (and you have to listen to it, their narration is perfect) was like getting advice from a cool aunt and uncle. They had so many incredibly wise, poignant, hilarious things to say about life, love, careers, relationships, and more. I learned a ton about them and did some deep thinking as well. Another must read.
