Two more fun books in the Tarzan series. The first is set in Pellucidar (hollow earth), the second concerns some communists trying to pull off a coup in Tarzan's Africa during WWII (hint: the author doesn't have a high opinion of communism).

For the most part this is mindless, comic-book adventure, but IMO nobody does it better.

By today's standards there are a few passages that might come across as racially insensitive.

Everyone in Pellucidar should fall straight into the internal sun, but, still, cool concept....
