It was a very long book, but it was necessary in order to understand Nesta. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because there were too many intense sex scenes for me. I understand the point of them because it kind of goes with the plot but I enjoy the romance more than the sex of a relationship. I loved seeing Nesta change and my opinion of her has definitely improved. It was weird seeing Feyre from an outside perspective though.

Though I miss the Feyre/Rhys story line, Maas did an amazing job having us as invested in Nesta and Cassian’s story. I’m ready for Azriel to get a chance in the spotlight and figure out where Maas plans on taking him!
