It’s not often I say this, but the show is better than the book! Belly is more likable in the show. Taylor is WAY more likable in the show!!
Belly is so young! Literally what Conrad always tells her. Really, should an 18 year old going off to college be starting a relationship with a 16 year old? No. None of them really confront their feelings, which I get is hard when you’re a teenager, but Belly avoids talking to the boys about serious things if it’s not in her best interest.
Taylor is not a good “best friend”. She’s selfish and self absorbed. I felt like Conrad was wimpy and whiny in the show, but I think his character and everything the boys are going through is better understood in the books. I like him more in the books.
I listened to the audiobook and it was a little confusing all the jumping back and forth in time from present to memories.
