Ok so I loved this just as much as I loved "The One@, but this is only getting four instead of five stars because I felt that Eadlyn's story was rushed.

I loved the ending, and I knew from the moment I met the boy she chose that it would be him. Now just to read all of the companion novellas, and I'm finally done with the world of the Selection - can't believe it's taken me this long!

This book kind of stole my heart and in a weird way, I feel proud of Eadlyn. Such a fun series and I'm happy with how it ended.

What do you know? More contrived dialogue and undeveloped characters. I'm so glad this series is over so I can stop hating myself for reading these damn books.

I was excited to read this book because I enjoyed the other books in the series, but I have to say this one just wasn't quite as good to me. The last few chapters got exciting, but for most of the book the plot was a little muddy and confusing to me, which made it not as interesting to read. I was satisfied with who she ended up with, but I never got to that point where I really liked Eadlyn - which was disappointing because I was hoping for better-defined character growth in this book. I thought she was still a little snotty to Josie, even at the point where that relationship was supposed to be resolved. Parents should also be aware that there is a same-sex relationship in this book - fairly minor to the plot, but still there. Overall, not my favorite. I liked the story between America and Maxon (first three books) much better than Eadlyn's story.
