Very quick read. Enjoyable, but not particularly memorable. Will put my thoughts into the review for Book 5.

Definitely the best book in the series so far. I went back and forth between wanting to continue with them and just skipping out, but I'm glad I didn't! It had a lot of intrigue and I loved the introduction of the Pearl family. I also loved that
Spoiler Lydia finally confronts Charlie. He's been bothering me so badly since the beginning!
. Overall, I think the writing and the plot line was definitely at its strongest in this one. I also loved the cliffhanger.

Bog-standard urban fantasy, with some fun mechanics and a couple likable characters. I’m enjoying this series, but the plot holes are significant and annoying. Like book 1 emphasizes that Henry Crow was only allowed to leave because he was the younger son, but from book 2 on, he’s the older son and former heir. And Lydia communicates with someone via CCTV, but we’d been told before and after that incident that she doesn’t show up on CCTV.
