Really enjoyed my first Agatha Christie novel! I like the characters of Hercule Poirot and Captain Hastings. I think I will enjoy the other books of hers potentially more than this one as there are more clear suspects in those? Either way really enjoyed it.

It's an Agatha Christie, nothing more to say. The chase was intriguing and once the story was properly started it was really enjoyable. The showdown with the killer at the end kind of felt like a big *waves in the air and poof- magic* but it's a habit of the genre so nothing against this book in particular. Overall, easy and quick read, time well-spent.
