I'm just gonna start off by saying this book is gorgeous! I was so happy when I received it because It looks so damn amazing. I live Rainbow Rowell and there is a cosy familiarity about her writing which makes me feel happy. This book was no exception to that Feeling both short stories were cute and I loved the illustrations. If you're looking for something to cheer you up that's quick and easy to read this is definitely the book you should pick up. 💕

These were very adorable, especially Kindred Spirits. My only complaint is in wish it was longer and we get to see what happens after. But, alas, that's the thing about short stories. I genuinely did enjoy it though.

A friend introduced me to Rainbow Rowell, and yup, already obsessed. Loved the illustrations, loved the stories… perfect book to read after celebrating the New Year.

Two very short, very sweet stories.
Almost midnight is told through a series of new years and near-miss kisses for best friends. It will put a smile on your face. But my favourite by far was Kindred spirits. It will be the same for any fan of Fangirl, or any actual fangirl. It was so much fun to read about a fangirl camping out to see the new Star Wars movie. The difference between what she expected and what she got has been so true for me in so many events that I just found the story incredibly relatable, not to mention ultimately heartwarming and so very funny.

I read this on New Years Eve and it was so adorable. I have a soft spot in my heart for both stories but especially Midnights. I started dating my husband due to a NYE party. ☺️ ❤️❤️❤️
