Started off really strong but I think it being a Novella was the wrong move, the breakup and reconciliation felt very perfunctory. The spice didn’t really work as well as it usually does with this author either.

Am I tired of reading about the tortured billionaire who falls head over heels over the sweet, fiery and alluring woman he meets? No. And that’s probably thanks to Eve, LOL!
Lord this was HOT! I can only hope to find a man as, erm… attentive as Will. Marley was a firecracker as well, which I really enjoyed. She had her hard edges and her pride but not in a frustrating way. Loved it!

They end up having a connection that turns into something more.

Cute short novella I found on Read Me Romance podcast. Liked the additional piece in the book that was added. 3.5 stars
Steamy & cute; I adore Eve Dangerfield and will basically read anything and everything she writes, so I enjoyed this novella that, although short, still had all of my favorite elements of an Eve Dangerfield story.
