10/10 : I bloody loved this @laurajaneauthor, a perfect modern romance novel, with anticipation building quickly throughout the story. Some parts of the plot were, admittedly, predictable, however, I don’t think it detracted at all, I think it was intended. The characters were authentic, clever & witty. It has a happy ending, & was just a delightfully charming, easy read.

i really enjoyed the writing and the characters for the most part but having to wait so long for nadia and daniel to meet definitely made it less enjoyable. if they’d met even halfway through the book, i wouldn’t have minded, but it was drawn out far too long for my taste.

i would’ve liked to have seen more of them together as well, even when they did eventually meet the book was practically over. i don’t mind the slow buildup but the pacing was just super off for me.

3.5 to be exact!
It took a really long time to get into this book, and I definitely wanted them to meet earlier than they did.
There were some eye rolling coincidences and I really would have enjoyed some scenes of Nadia and Daniel actually together.
I feel like we had so many scenes of Nadia with Eddie, playing happy families that for a moment I thought she would be good to stay with him. It would have been great to have a bit more insight into what all the hype died down into for the two characters.
I quite enjoyed the humour and while some feel it is overly feminist, or politically driven at times I thought these elements simply added to the main character.
I did notice a number of spelling and grammar errors which made the book feel less polished as a whole, along with the vast volume of froth that ensued prior to the characters meeting.
All in all, a good light read, but I must admit - I nearly didn’t finish it.

I gave up after the one night stand and just skipped to the last few chapters.. they summarised it all anyway.. the missed connections just became more tedious and frustrating. Daniel was sweet albeit sometimes a bit of a wet blanket but I didn't really like Nadia, she seemed fake. I do wonder what Emma's problem was though but not enough to want to read the full story. Sorry, but it's a shame, the premise seemed so promising.

A very cute romance with some unexpected twists to keep it interesting. I'm a sucker for missed connections (or at least the idea of them) and this was a fun take on the premise. Definitely glad I stuck around for the ending!

What an amazing book, it's so sweet and frustrating in a great way.
I'm so happy.

A not really looking for love story, but found it anyway...
Nadia has only recently broken up with her bf, so her only immediate plans are to change her routine, and hopefully, in changing her routine, she can change her life.
One of her 'to dos' is to make it into work on time, which means catching the 7:30 am train, which she doesn't always manage to do.
Daniel, is always on the 7:30 and one day he notices Nadia, but how do you actually go about approaching a beautiful woman on the tube without getting shot down?
That's where 'Missed Connections comes in...

Absolutely adored this book! I do think that a lot of the random political commentary was unnecessary and sometimes slightly annoying but hey the book was super enjoyable and I binged it by the pool in pretty much a day
