Such an easy read, and the perfect feel-good book! Loved the characters and the ending made me feel all happy and fuzzy, like a warm hug in the form of a book.

Quem nunca encontrou alguém no metro que ansiou voltar a encontrar?

This book irritated me to no end and I think I was taken over the edge by the mention of the secret. Of all the books to mention, the highly problematic the secret? After trying to make the book seem feminist and aware? Doesn't make sense. Also it was long for no reason whatsoever - the add on issues did not further the plot. Make editors great again.

This was a straightforward cheesy ‘Will they? won’t they?’ love story which I drowned myself in completely and unashamedly. Nadia has caught Daniels eye as they share a train carriage often on their morning commute but he can’t work how to approach her without looking like a psychopath... as every Londoner knows, you never talk to another human on the tube even if they are standing on your trouser leg! Instead he places an advert in the ‘Missed Connections’ section of the newspaper and prays she’ll see it. What ensues is a tale of missed opportunities, mistaken identities, unfortunate timing and pure and simple falling in love. As someone who’s making a career out of being single I am not normally drawn to romances, but I fell for this one hook line and sinker. Yes it was massively predictable and it’s definitely never going to win any prizes for literature but if they made a film out of it we’d all love it forever.
Thank you to Avon and Readers First for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is a perfect light easy summer read for the beach or on holiday. I found the first half of the book quite slow to get going, and found myself getting frustrated by the fact they kept missing each other. I liked how it was told from both Daniel and Nadia's perspectives and it was very current in today's world. I much preferred the end of the book when things finally started to fall into place for Nadia and Daniel, but I did find some parts of the book quite predictable. There was also quite a lot of humour in it and found myself laughing out load on occasions as I could really relate with Nadia. There was also some deeper issues in the book that I thought were done well which made Daniel a really likeable character in how he handled matters.
