Another high action volume of Blue Lock. As Isagi, Nagi, and Barou battle against Chigiri, Reo, and Kunigami, the stakes continue to get higher. Isagi and Nagi are having trouble getting through to Barou who believes that he is the one person who can win the match for them. Meanwhile, Chigiri, Reo, and Kunigami have figured out how to work together as a team.
This volume does a good job of showcasing how Isagi impacts his team and how his skills continue to improve. He is a complicated character and with each volume I feel more conflicted on how I feel about him. He's ruthless in many ways. This does make him compelling in some respects and I found the volume engaging.
