Wish this was a bit cosier, but I still die for a reverse harem/why choose x cosy mystery! Literally my two favourite subgenres and most people don't consider them to go together, so I'm happy this series exists! This one had a fun theme, set during an Austin themed event when a character from one of the books happened to have come to life, with a couple of murders to solve.
It did feel a bit meh at parts (can't quite put my finger on it) which is why its a four star not a five star

Another great book in this fun series! This time Mina and the guys, along with their new book person, Lydia Bennet from Pride & Prejudice, attend the annual Argleton Jane Austen Experience at the stately Lachlan Manor. Of course there’s a murder and lots of craziness follows. Before going they actually spend the night in the room that travels through time, in the bookshop, which reveals some interesting things.

Also Mina and the guys get closer. Mina sees the eye doctor about the lights she’s seeing and finds she may be going blind faster than first expected.

I’m loving this series so much! I can’t get enough of it!! I think my favorite guy is sweet Quoth, but Heathcliff and Moriarty are both great too! There are a few steamy scenes and romantic moments too. The mystery had me guessing and re-guessing again. I love that! If you enjoy RH Romance, Book Boyfriends coming to life, and fun and crazy murder mysteries, then check out this series!! On to book four…

The addition of the new time traveling character definitely added some dimension and amusing tales, but I think I'm done with the series.

This is my favorite of the series so far!

Maybe it's because we get some answers into the mysterious bookshop.

Maybe it's because we FINALLY get a boom character, and it's Lydia Bennet!

Maybe it's because it's entirely based on Jane Austen.

Maybe it's because there's a whole bunch of Bronte references that I really enjoyed.

Maybe I really enjoyed this murder mystery. (Even if it was, again, super obvious who the killer was.)

While there isn't a whole lot of character depth in this series, I'm starting to realize there really doesn't need to be. It's just a bunch of cozy cutesy vibes, and while I don't love it, I do enjoy it.

That being said. Mina’s mom drives me batshit. But Jo evens her out, so I think it's okay.

I really enjoy this series and I love Pride and Prejudice so this was a fun one for me.
