Our kids (10 & 5 yrs old) couldn't stop talking about how much like the magic tree house this one was. As a RV owning family, we loved that the magic came from a camper but the similarities with MTH were too similar for comfort. The kids kept asking if the writers had permission to copy Mary Pope Osborne's idea. We'll still finish the series since we borrowed them all but it's not one we'll purchase.
Cute story for a traveling family, not great for huge MTH fans.

Reminded me of The Magic Tree House a little bit. I did still enjoy it though. I think it’s a good adventure book for young readers. And I enjoyed the facts about the place where they visited in the back. I think it’s worth it for those younger readers.
