A delightful read that has left me hungry for more. Giving it 4.5 as one or two essays didn’t completely bowl me over, but nonetheless a great read!

this made me laugh, smile, cry, sigh, gasp, etc. this was a beautiful essay collection that explored the meaning of food through the unique experiences of diverse people and communities. I highly recommend for foodies alike.

re-sparked my excitement and joy for cooking! can’t wait to get back in the kitchen and COOK FOR HOURS! some essays are waaay better than others but overall i found the collection to touch on many cool topics around cooking, from kitchen intimacy to the relationship between cooking and feminism. would highly recommend!!

Not to judge a book by it’s cover but when I saw it I knew it was going to be an good one. So cute, all the stories are about food and life it’s self-explanatory.

This was the perfect book for this year’s holiday season. It is filled with heartwarming stories about food and intimacy in various forms. I also really liked how authors from different continents and cultures were represented. Every chapter was a new experience.
