This book was very unique. I haven’t read anything like it. The grim, dark atmosphere even during light-hearted moments gave it an unsettling vibe. 

Of course my favorite things were the two main characters, especially their dynamic and backstories, and the later story focusing on mental illness and psychiatric hospitals.
