Wanted to DNF by 4% in. No idea why I stuck it out but I should have trusted my gut. Terrible writing. Bad and boring plot and characters.
This one star is for me for completing this book!
This book is written horribly and is quite possibly the worst thing I’ve ever read. The heroine was dumb, idiot and pathetic. The hero was tolerable. If only I could bleach my eyes and delete the memory regarding this book from my brain.

I actually enjoyed the beginning of the book but the plot just escalated from there. The characters are huge red flags and made me really uncomfortable.

Again, a book that came highly recommended and ended up not at all what I thought it would be.
Thought the mmc would manipulate the fmc to be with him, but he just uses hypnosis... how fucking lame.
Knight spends too much time (like half the book) on the fmc and her hubby with their trauma and then jumps to the fmc and mmc getting together which makes no sense.
I boo this book. Throws

honestly this book wished it had the some of the depth and dynamism like that of londongrayson from [b:Born, Darkly|35560673|Born, Darkly (Darkly, Madly #1)|Trisha Wolfe|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1498880257l/35560673._SY75_.jpg|53349037] they will continue to reign as the top therapist x patient romance i fear, a good effort here will check out book 2 for pax
