I cannot say this enough! This book satisfied the darkest parts of my heart, and I am so Lucky to have received a copy of this as an ARC.
What did I just read!? Sera and Tim have been together since teenagers and even married for 2 years, with no sexual relationship. They decide to go and see a therapist. Cue Shane our morally grey psychotic stalker psychiatrist ... He becomes instantly obsessed with Sera, however he has a few obstacles to get through to claim her and the biggest one is her husband Tim.
Tim is trash and IDC what trauma he suffered the way he treated Sera was horrible! He knew what to say to make her feel like crap and stay by his side.
The characters and the plot were well written and the spice... was done so very well!
This is a standalone dark romance with an HEA.
5/5 for the story as a whole
4/5 for the spice
This is my first book by Aurelia, and I can't wait to read more!
PLEASE MIND YOUR TW HERE! There are several.
As always, I aim to keep my review spoiler free.

I had high hopes for this book but sadly it was boring. Didn't like the main characters or the plot. Oh well.

Not what I expected but so good!
I read this in a day because I couldn't put it down! When I thought they had their happy ending but was only just over half way through the book I NEEDED to finish it! Such a good story and different from any other dark romance I've read. In some ways it was !ore a psychological thriller romance than anything and I want to read more like it!

Man. Whew ok.
Had me during the first half, not gonna lie. I loved the twisted web of deceit and stalking and obsession.
Then the Big Terrible Thing happened…which don’t get me wrong, I was shoooook. No spoilers.
But…idk. It lost something along the way. The depth of intrigue. The twisty road. And Seraphina’s growth deteriorated and then BAM. It’s fine everything is fine…was too much of an unexpected turn.
It’s almost like Shane was supposed to be the villain and then the author chickened out. Sure. He’s a bad dude buuuut justifiable badness is a cop out after all the things he’d done.
And the epilogue just proved it.
Good book, but I wouldn’t read it again cuz the theme didn’t follow through all the way and there’s a lot of unanswered questions.
