If you want a happy book that’s full of sadness and lessons, this one fills that bill. I didn’t know what to think of Rodeo at the start of this book, but Coyote’s dad had a heart much like hers. The two of them, the cat Ivan, the goat Gladys, and the friends made on their journey back to the state of Washington all worked together in this adventure book. I have many quotes I’m keeping, and this one sums up the message I received: "Maybe we're all a little broken. Maybe we're all a little fragile. Maybe that's why we need each other so much."
Fun ride along with Coyote and gang. The writing paints a picture of life on the road to healing and kindness
I laughed, I cried and cried while reading this beautifully written book. I felt all the feels.

Loved. Even though I was a snotty mess at the end. Or maybe because I was a snotty mess at the end.
This book pulled at my heartstrings. While reading it in public, there were many times I had to look away and stop reading for a moment or else I would become a blubbering mess. Coyote’s journey home is beautifully written. This book reminds me that we should help/love our fellow humans (cats and goats as well). Thank you for sharing Coyote’s story.
