This book was super sweet 🥰 and super hot 🫠🥵! Rivals to lovers done right!
This book is the perfect choice if you are in the mood for a light, funny, spicy double bi-awakening story. Both MCs experienced loss in their pasts, but it adds depth to their characters and doesn't make the book dark or add too much of an emotional load to the reader. They are sad situations, but it doesn't take away from the overall light, feel good vibe of the book. Lance and Ty are precious!
I loved getting to revisit the characters from The Step Dare and The Step Don't 🥰. It's not required to read them to enjoy this book, but I highly recommend doing so. They are great books as well! I cannot wait to read Ryan and Marty's story! Come on May 2026 😍.
Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I did receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review. 100% honesty: You should read this book!

Well, it was kind of cute, but at 70% I didn't feel like reading it anymore. Then I read the last chapter and realised there was still a bit of plot, but I still didn't feel like reading it. Now I'm unsure if I should categorise it as DNF or just not good. Mostly because in this dual POV book, both characters were super hard to tell apart, which apparently wasn't just me after reading through the reviews a bit. Also, all the secondary characters were only about three people to me because they were all kind of similar. I just didn't enjoy the book that much.

This was such a fun and spicy read! I loved the backstory between our 2 MCs as presidents of rival frats who already had a “moment” the previous year and how that led Ty to feel like he had “claimed” Lance. There are lots of fun frat antics, good friendships and hilarious banter to enjoy.
This is book 1 of a spinoff series co-written with Riley Hart, but can be read without having read the previous series if stepbrothers finding love with each other is not your jam.
This is a lovely low angst, high spice double biawakening. It’s the perfect summer read. I am looking forward to book 2 thanks to the setup throughout this one. I am also intrigued about who will be able to tie Dax down eventually!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I’ll be honest, this wasn’t a book I was sure I’d like and I’m still kind of unsure because the whole frat boy/frat setting isn’t my thing but I dunno, something about it was calling to me.
Despite some things that I would normally not like, I just couldn’t help myself - these two guys were sooo cute in their double bi-awakening. It had first love nerves vibes and that just had me giggly inside.
I think some parts come across a little immature and sometimes the writing is a bit too straightforward for me but I just liked how the story developed. Their mix of boldness but insecure/shy feelings from not knowing what they were doing just was a great combo that I found addictive. Additionally, there’s a lot of little funny bits of dialogue that made me laugh.
I liked really seeing them be awkward sometimes - it was refreshing as other bi awakening books I’ve read (though I haven’t read many) just have them get very smoothly into it and this seemed more real to me. It was also very hot! Definitely a spicy book.
There are some emotionally intimate moments too. In a way they could come across flat but I also think it kind of fit these frat bro type characters? Like the way they express themselves might just be like that, so it ended up kind of feeling real.
There is a lot of frat politics and interplay that I really just couldn’t bring myself to care about but it’s obviously in the name and all so I’m not rating down for it since I expected frat stuff. I would read more from this author but I’ll need to check if they’re all new adult/college/frat type books or not. If they are then it’s sadly not for me but if they’re not then I’ll definitely read more of his books!
I feel like I’ve been overly negative for a 4 star book but I just was that mixed about it even though I actually really did enjoy it! Hard to explain 😂😂 bit of a guilty pleasure maybe?
Overall, this was a fun, cute, sexy read. Would recommend if you’re not looking for anything super deep but just a nice, light but satisfying book.

Can I pleassssse be apart of these frats!?
What a great bunch of guys, I truly loved every single side character in this book! And definitely loved Lance and Ty, can we talk about communication kings?
This was such a fun read for me, I throughly enjoyed it. I was laughing and blushing throughout this whole book.
Lance and Ty chemistry was through the roof and loved how easily they became friends even as frat rivals and that were able to communicate with each other their feelings and what they really wanted.
This is a double bi-awakening done so nicely both men knowing what they want and being able to actually talk to each other was so refreshing. Ty being so cutely possessive of his man was my favorite thing even when he tried to hide it was so obvious!
I can’t wait to continue this series and catch up with the other fratbros in the series!

This was a fun, enemies to lovers story with typical fraternity banter and ridiculous pranks. Our MC's, who are rival frat house presidents, land in a couple of situations during these pranks that lead them to the conclusion that they are interested in each other.
Cue the spicy experiments, sneaky hook-ups and cute as fuck dates!
If you enjoyed the Peach State Step-bros series by Devon & Riley Hart then you'll also enjoy this book. The step-bros make appearances though you can read this book as a stand-alone.
I love Devon's books and I can't wait to see what happens in the rest of the series!
