If you like gung-ho, "go for broke" military stories, this is a good book. There is a decent story here, but it is full of flying bullets (and a little swordplay). I like this series, but the author needs to spend more time making Echo team seem like humans. Cade and Duncan have some depth, but everyone else is almost interchangeable.
The thing that annoys me the most about this book is the fact that Echo team does not get themselves out of the problems they run into.They get lucky a lot, and the biggest save is almost-literally a deus ex machina.
