I urge you to read this, like right now! It's a rare gem of a novel that will honestly leave you breathless and wanting more. In one word it's delicious. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I had no expectations or idea of what the book was about, just that it had good reviews. It ended up being so inspiring and just such a riveting and wonderful listen!
Highly recommend!

I borrowed the book from a friend, after she insisted I read it, and now I don't know if I'm supposed to thank her or make her pay for my therapy.

SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING:
I didn't even think I was going to cry.
I didn't cry when Harry died, or Celia, or Connor. Or even Evelyn.
I cried when Monique's mom started reminiscing about her husband (and Monique's father).
