I very much enjoyed this book. I saw the plot twist coming, but I was still interested in getting to the end. The format was original and intriguing. I’m reminded of Reid’s other book Daisy Jones and the Six with its interview format. It’s not exaggerated to say the Reid has a great skill at untraditional storytelling methods. I would definitely recommend this book.

I loved this book! I was so surprised at how much I was sucked into the life of old Hollywood and movie stars. I didn’t think I would enjoy this book as much as I did because it was out of the genre range of books that I typically go for, but wow what a refreshing surprise. This book was so fast paced and I couldn’t get enough of it. The plot twists in the last hundred pages were so good that I had to finish it that day. I would recommend this to anyone, even if you don’t think you’ll like it!

This book was absolutely incredible. I cannot express how much love this book! Feminist bicon Evelyn Hugo is jaw dropping amazing. This book touched on so many amazing topics and it was so powerful. The story was compelling and you never knew what was going to happen next. Absolute page turn, I couldn't put it down. This book had such a full circle moment and the and it was satisfying yet so sad when the reveal was made at the end. I don't have enough words to describe how much this book means to me. The writing style was beautiful and I will forever keep the words "I had the devastating luxury of panic" close to my heart. 100% recommend to anyone.

The storyline of this book is really good, but there were a few parts that needed work, like when
Evelyn made up the scenario of her miscarriage, it obviously wasn't believable in any way because it wasn't even logical. It's not like the doctor would know before her she had a miscarriage.
That's why I'm only giving it 4.5 stars

Wow. A friend recommended me this book, and at first it was a little hard for me to get into. But once I got into it, I loved it. I love a good character development based book, and although Evelyn didn’t necessarily develop into a great person by the end of the book, seeing her evolution was very interesting. I loved harry, and Cecilia, and all of these characters felt so unbelievably real. I also loved hearing about the old Hollywood experience. What an enjoyable read.
