First off, I just want to say the format of this book is terrible. It's so big and floppy and I hate it. I imagine this must have been some kind of cost cutting measure and not stylistic choice.
The only thing I can really think to say is that this book is very much a product of it's time. It's clearly a reaction to the political/religious climate of the early 2000s. I wish I'd read it at the time, because some of this doesn't seem so clever now, 15 years later. It's sometimes funny, sometimes stupid, and not an easy book to sit down and read cover-to-cover despite being so short.
But it's still worth reading because it's a joke worth being in on. There are lots of really quotable lines and insightful passages.

I feel like eating pasta now.
Interesting similarities with Principia Discordia (would be easier to translate than PD though!) & The Book of SubGenius. Kind of a midway from both. I don't get the midget or fatty jokes, nor the stripper factory thing, but generally I am convinced.

It was really disappointing for the money I spent on it. While it does have some great laughs, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

A worthwhile satire, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is quite amusing and thought provoking, but it drags out a painfully slow and repetitive pace, much like the works it’s mocking. Definitely worth reading the first half, but the second half feels optional.

He had a funny feeling and realized in His drunken stupor that He had not only built a factory in Heaven that turned out scantily clad women in transparent high heels, but He'd also created a midget on earth, whom He called Man. And He said, ''Wow. Even I might have overreached my Noodly Appendage on this one,'' and not even sure what day it was anymore, He decided to take an extended break from the whole creation gig, and He gave a quick blessing and declared, ''From here on out, every Friday is a holiday.''
