Very quick -- Definitely my favorite of the two I've read! I enjoyed Axel quite a bit. And Magnus was glamorous, as always! The queen though, that lady was very... weird. The vampires were cool. There were a couple of sad bits, but overall I was thoroughly entertained. There were a couple of chuckle worthy lines as well.

Magnus really needs to pick his infactuations a little better. I also Expected more from the queen, I understand ahe was suprised but was that behaviour necessary? Magnus was his normal charming self, I loved his monkey and the name he gave him. Paris did sound like a perfect place for Magnus at one time, I'm glad he didn't stay there though. Pretty much the same feelings as the last one, not great, not bad somewhere in the middle. If you like Magnus its worth atleast one read.

I liked it better than the first one, interesting and only a tinsy bit rambly. The idea for this short story, in my opinion would've been a fantastic novel (if written correctly of course.)

The 2nd hilarious short story in the Bane chronicles, Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnson create a fabulous twist on the French Revolution.

While good and Magnus-y and French, it was lacking that awesome, hilarious, killing me factor from the previous one. I can only assume this is due to no Ragnor (Team Green People). So I now DEMAND that Ragnor be in all Magnus-y stories. Forever. The end.

"If one could look this fabulous, one had the obligation to"

I love Magnus!
