I watched Voyager years ago, could barely remember the details of the pilot when I picked up this novellisation...I expected a leasure read, which this defnitely was, but was surprised how much I actually enjoyed reading this story. On a purely visceral level I enjoyed reading the story considerably more than I remember watching it.

Almost exactly like the episode it is based on. I liked the added bits that showed what the characters were thinking and how they were feeling. It was a well-written and enjoyable read. It made me miss so many of the characters I loved so much.

Well adapted from the first episode of Voyager - I enjoyed reading the inner thoughts going on in the characters heads which I didn't pick up from the original episode. Paris in particular is far more empathetic and I thought the way the Doctors processes were described were interesting. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series and some original stories!

This is a good novelization of the pilot episode of Voyager. It tells the same story, but gives a little more insight into characters' thoughts and feelings.
