The ending hit so hard that I initially wanted to give it a 5, but after chewing on it for a while almost didn’t want it to be a romance so it could 100% focus on her journey of self-discovery/friendships (and this is coming from a romance lover). It felt like either that or the romance could have been more fleshed out if the book picked one, but I loved and wanted both.

Cute, easy read (or listen), even if the main character sometimes vacillated between infuriatingly obstinate and oblivious at some points. Guess it's not a rom-com if you don't want to shake the protagonists!
