First things first, I'm gonna need a movie adaptation with Jamie Campbell Bower as Simon ASAP.
Second, this was a very, VERY good book. I enjoyed it a lot.
I have a love-hate relationship with Simon cuz he's killed people and he's insane but also he's kinda funny and the END??? WHERE HE RIPPED THE LIP OFF???? ABSOLUTELY INSANE.
The only thing that bothered me was confusing writing in terms of location.Like during the end and Hoyt was against the bars of the cell, that was weird because in my mind, they were fighting in the middle of the room. Or maybe I'm just dumb and I skim over.
BIIIIIIGGGGG sucker for female and male friendships that do not end in a romantic relationship.
ALSO GOOD FOR EMMA THAT SHE DIDN'T ACCEPT THE LETTER AT THE END!!!!!

This book is…interesting, to say the least. It’s a different style than I’m used to, but I think it works. Love the relationship between Emma and Travis (MISSED opportunity for a romance), how they deal with their trauma, Cooper, the Gutmunssons, great. I didn’t understand HOW they found the killer, the INCEST was…yeah. But the WAY he killed people, and SIEGFRIED? Yes. And this book gets a thumbs-up from me because IT MADE ME GAG. MORE THAN ONCE. Ridiculous. Cool read.
