I really liked the political intrigue and the main character is a bit unreliable but I loved learning things through her eyes.

Mi è piaciuto tantissimo questo primo libro.
All'inizio ero un po' scettica siccome la gente definiva la prima parte 'noiosa', io l'ho trovata lenta, non noiosa. Secondo me già dopo qualche capitolo inizia a diventare molto interessante.
Lo stile di scrittura mi piace molto, è super avvincente e scorrevole.
Non vedo l'ora di leggere il secondo libro. Assolutamente consigliato questo primo.

The book really just builds up the main story line, and serves as character solidifying for Ophelia and her relationship to her in-laws and trusted helpers among the court.
Nevertheless the story so far is gripping and enticing.
