Interesting concept, but a little clunky - especially in the beginning. The story picked up and is a fun read, but it was a little frustrating that the mystery was never solved on the page.
Couldn't get into it...also, did I miss it or did Hunter never reveal why Minerva was given the money?
Silly mystery that is set up to be unveiled over 3 books. 345 got better as story went along.

That was alright for the most part I suppose. It certainly did drag at times. Both our main characters like to make inquiries and yet it felt like nothing was discovered…at all. The main mystery wasn’t solved and the side quests were pointless when there was a greater plot to focus on.

DNF at 30%. The premise was good. Sadly the writing is stiff and the characters have have about as much chemistry as boiled cabbage. It's like reading a love story between two Regency Vulcans.
