I struggled with this book. But I think it was a good struggle to have! I have learned from it :)

Ajatuksien kulkua on kiinnostavaa seurata.

One of the best memoirs I’ve read. Catch me world bending and adding all of the books they referenced to my TBR.

This book is so deep and cutting it feels like we shouldn't be able to read it. Akwaeke Emezi takes us into the deepest parts of their life and spirit and lays themselves bare for us to witness. It is beautifully written but hard to get through sometimes for the sheer emotions being put on the page.

I will be reading all of Emezi's other books IMMEDIATELY.
