It was okay. Some of the chapters were well written and interesting but others felt like they had a complete different author
I wish this included more transcripts from the actual interviews instead of a biography of the killers lives.
This was interesting but, as always, someone could have done a better editing job.
Do not get into this book if you have a weak stomach. Although an interesting read, I can’t say I enjoyed it. The author describes, in gruesome detail sometimes, the violence inflicted on the victims of the serial killers listed in this book. It’s not always transparent when the personal view of the author is presented in relation to the validity of the material and the effectiveness of law enforcement in each case.
An interesting read if you're into this sort of stuff.

This was a very gruesome detailed read. Reading about the murders was heartbreaking at times and quite shocking.
However, I don't think this book was named correctly. Talking with Serial killers gives the impression there will be actual conversations with the killers to try and find out what they had to say about the murders and if there's a reason why they committed the crimes.
But the book read more like a biography with a lot of background research, giving details of early life, crimes committed, prison sentences, even trial details. There was barely any information on the actual interviews which was a bit disappointing.
The author also seemed to really want to get across how much it costs to house the prisoners. It does cost a lot, but I don't see how it was relevant to what the book was suppose to be about.
