It’s not really a story I’m interested in but apparently it’s best to read if you want to understand X of Swords, so I’ll struggle through it. Jubilee is cute!

I'll be curious to see how this story continues to tie into the other Dawn of X stories. I didn't like this as much as New Mutants or the main X-Men book but it was still entertaining.

From politics to sorcery to British legends, this book has it all. A really good read starring a great cast of characters, which was easy to understand even without having any previous knowledge of the Captain Britain lore.

Not feeling all this magic mumbo jumbo.

Very tempted to give this 4.5. Possibly my favorite X-book outside of the main title during Dawn of X. A fun mix of characters and I like the more magical take on the stories. The art is really gorgeous too.

Would have benefited by slowing down a few beats, but overall enjoyable if you like either Captain Britain or Apocalypse lore.

Review for entire series (#1-26):

Tini Howard has so many interesting ideas but just constantly fails to execute them properly. This barely feels like an X-Men book, it honestly should have been a Betsy Braddock solo series with maybe Rictor and Apocalypse as side characters, because Howard clearly has favorites and has absolutely no idea what to with Rogue, Gambit and Jubilee and it's clear that they're only here to make people buy the book.
