Autumn Trent is the main character in this spin off series from Mary Stone. Autumn's credentials make her the perfect person to interview the criminally insane as well as homicidal maniacs. This is the second book in the series and more or less picks up right where the first ends.
Though we have a new predator with a different kind of victim - who is targeting old men with money? What is the end game? Autumn and friends will find out one way or the other.
Read the entire series, it's a don't miss.

I find that I cannot put this series down.  I started with the first Winter Black book and have continued reading the series one book after another.  Autumn is working her second case with the FBI team since graduating.  She and the team investigate a series of widowers being taken for their money and some giving up their lives.  The story is fast paced.  The characters are engaging.  The mood is dark partly because of the crime and partly because the characters have dark pasts.  I would recommend this book .

Still feeling meh after the incredibly disappointing “end” to the Winter series. Still story inconsistencies. The killer was meh and boring. Extra star exclusively for undercover Aidan. That was awesome!

I have read all the Winter and now Autumn series. This one did not disappoint, it took me right back to the characters and wanted to find out what had happened and the unresolved questions from previous books. It was just what I needed to escape from everything going on right now and I spent an afternoon just losing myself in the book.

I was given an advance copy of the book by ARC for an unbiased review which I have done.
