"A journalist is hot on the trail of a pair of domestic terrorists who for decades have eluded capture.

Dawson Scott is a well-respected journalist recently returned from Afghanistan. Haunted by everything he experienced, he's privately suffering from battle fatigue which is a threat to every aspect of his life. But then he gets a call from a source within the FBI. A new development has come to light in a story that began 40 years ago. It could be the BIG story of Dawson's career one in which he has a vested interest.

Soon, Dawson is covering the disappearance and presumed murder of former Marine Jeremy Wesson, the biological son of the pair of terrorists who remain on the FBI's Most Wanted list. As Dawson delves into the story, he finds himself developing feelings for Wesson's ex-wife, Amelia, and her two young sons. But when Amelia's nanny turns up dead, the case takes a stunning new turn, with Dawson himself becoming a suspect. Haunted by his own demons, Dawson takes up the chase for the notorious outlaws. . .and the secret, startling truth about himself." (From Amazon)

This is one of those buckle-up-and-hold-tight kind of books. While I did not overly warm up to Dawson and Amelia or there romance I was tuned in completely to the story and all the twist and turns the novel took. I listened to this one on audio and enjoyed it.

Great romance/mystery!! Listened to the unabridged audio version. Couldn't put it down so listened all weekend while doing yard work. Interesting story, good characters you learned to love, and an unexpected twist at the end. I actually had to back it up to be sure I understood what was said!

3.5 stars, this isn't classic literature but after days of picking up books and putting them down after the first few chapters, the book was just what I needed. It is fast paced and the characters are engaging. A nice solid read.

It started a little slow, but picked up past the halfway point. Classic and exciting Sandra Brown. The ending...did not see that coming.

So far, aku bahagia baca ini. Kemistri Dawson-Hunter-Grant juga bagus dan bikin gemas.
