Jenny is a registered nurse who also volunteers at her local vet with her best friend Megan. Quite the busy woman, who enjoys her downtime when she can get it. After being convinced to attend a charity event, which featured an auction with billionaires. Chase is a single father, businessman, and a billionaire, and Jenny has won a date with him.

Let me tell you, I've always loved the idea of a date auction, but to find love, that's a sweet deal. Debbie White tells the sweet tale of the fairy tale romance. Though it's not a typical story that would happen to the everyday woman, White ensures that the story touches home with a curious and concerned mother, a comforting friend, and womanly intuitions.

Disclosure: At my request, I have received an advance copy of this book for review purposes from Beck Valley Books Book Tours. I am not being financially compensated for this post, all opinions expressed are my own honest opinion.

Billionaire Auction by Debbie White is a sweet romantic story about a nurse who met the man of her dreams when she bid on him at a charity auction.

Jennifer Palmer is a registered nurse who helps at the kennel on her days off. Therefore, when her best friend and roommate approached her about taking part in an auction to raise funds for the Animal Defense League, there was no hesitation on her part. The one thing she was not looking for from this venture was any romantic entanglements. Fate however had different plans.

Chase Morrow is a single dad and the billionaire on whom Jenny placed her bid. He is not your typical billionaire in that he was not arrogant. His laid-back personality and the fact he wore his heart on his sleeve endeared him to me.
.
I found this to be an interesting story. However, an indecisive and insecure heroine took away from my enjoyment. I understand that hurt from a previous relationship would make one cautious in regards to romantic entanglements, but Jenny actions were extreme. Thankfully, the hero helped to balance out her attitude with his patience. It also helped that her best friend could provide the guidance needed to put her on the right path. Thank goodness for friends with a positive attitude. Due to her actions, I had difficulty accepting that her declarations of love for Chase were genuine.
If you love steamy romances, then this book may not be for you. This was squeaky clean, which was not a problem for me.

Conclusions/Recommendations
Overall, this was not a bad read. It may not have delivered all I hoped for, but I still I had a good time. If you enjoy clean romances centered on family and friendships, you may enjoy Billionaire Auction.
