The size of this book disappointed me if I’m honest, after a buildup from ‘Ink’ and ‘Spark’ I expected a much longer story. I really wanted to like this book a lot more than I did but I feel like Leora kept moving forwards but wasn’t really going anywhere, just bouncing between Saintstone and Featherstone, sometimes without need. The end was also quick and a lot quieter than I thought it would be, the conflict is minimal, and what almost happened in chapter thirty seven or eight maybe was frankly disgusting. But the way it’s written is quite poetic and forced romance aside it’s not a bad series. The idea was sound, but I feel it needed more fleshing out to be a great series.

Din pacate acest ultim volum al trilogiei Carti scrise pe piele m-a cam dezamagit ☹ Mi se pare ca actiunea este lălăită rau de tot pe tot parcursul cartii, protagonista face aceleasi greseli din nou si din nou, iar societatea nu se schimba cu nimic oricate motive ar avea. Cu toate acestea, au fost momente cand totul s-a intors la 360 de grade, care m-au lasat efectiv cu gura cascata si am avut parte si de deznodamantul mult asteptat, incarcat de asemenea de tensiune. Chiar imi pare rau ca nu am prea multe cuvinte de lauda de spus despre acest volum, asa cum am avut despre celelalte doua. Recomand in continuare trilogia si sper ca voi o veti aprecia mai mult decat am facut-o eu!

It was okay but it did feel rushed or too slow in parts and I see some more character development also I love the ending but it did feel bit rushed. I found the cover of the book was very stunning and it was a quick read.

I think this serie is absolutely awesome. I really enjoyed this book and the way that it was written. I just would have liked it to be a bit longer, because now the ending felt a bit rushed and I didn't really like that. Beside the ending I just really love this series and I am sad that it is over now.
