I think Riggs is just phoning it in here. I skipped #5 and I don't seem to have missed anything.
We alternate between dithering old bird-women who are pathetic one moment, birds another, and top level wizards the next.
We have random subgroupings of the peculiars going here and there without much of a plan, and bumbling along until they meet the next of about a dozen unexpected allies.
Jacob finally remembers his hollow-master skills, and assembles a crew of them that he burns off like the ablative coating on a space shuttle.
In the end, that which were were told 400 pages ago would happen does indeed happen, and we all live happily ever after. Put it away, Ransom, you've squeezed the last dollar out of this one. Take it easy for a while, then give us something completely different.
Oh, and lose the old-photos thing; it's done.

J'ai adorer cette saga ! Et la fin est superbe ! Tout du long on est aspirer dans cet univers fou. Comme toujours, on a de folles photos qui illustrent certains événements. Tout du long, on est tenu en haleine. Même le temps mort ne sont pas serein.
L'auteur parviens a travers son histoire à nous faire réfléchir sur d'autre thème plus universel comme l'amitié et sa force, les premiers amours, le droit à la différence. Il aborde aussi la difficulté à parfois trouver sa place dans le monde.
Je conseil vivement cette saga !!! Elle est vraiment fabuleuse !
PS : j'aurai toutefois imaginer la fin un peu diffèrente. Tout ce fini un peu trop bien et presque trop facilement vu les forces en face... Et si ce Jacob avec le syndrome du heros finissais maudit... En plus un petit prologue répondant au différentes questions laissées en suspens durant l'histoire aurai pu être intéressant...
