I had a hard time putting this down! I am now eagerly anticipating the sequel and am bummed we have to wait until 2025 to get it. It read very fast despite being a medium-paced book.

I dock stars for cliffhanger endings and books that are not clear about being part of a series from the beginning.  Interesting story, well fleshed out characters. A twist that kept me guessing.

I got this book from my local library because of a review I saw about it and 186 pages in I agree with the review. I was reading it fast because it reads like a tropey YA read that I personally don't care for anymore. I did skip ahead and spoiled the ending for myself so I feel like I'm not missing out on anything.
