I have mixed feelings about this book. I liked the morally grey MC and her dark past.
But the "mystery" part was pretty obvious to me. So the twist wasn't very surprising.
I'm not sure what it is about pregnant female MCs in mystery/thrillers lately. But they seem to be the new trend probably to "up-the-stakes".
Overall it was an okay book, and most enjoyable.
