I don't think this book is necessarily everyone's cup of tea, but I really loved it. I'm fond of the strange, and this book does a wonderful job of making strange things hauntingly beautiful. It's sometimes grotesque in its beauty, but I liked it more for it. This is a book that I think I need to go back to, if only to linger in the world it's created.
