Two words...bloody brilliant. I've loved this series and yet at the same time couldn't wait for it to end, mainly because I needed to know who the 'wolf' was. I'd no idea, I rarely guess because my heart was too busy racing as I powered through this series. It was an emotionally charged story, I was right there terrified for them all. Morgan was such a fighter, will she even survive? I asked myself that constantly and you'll have to read it yourself to see how that panned out.
Reid’s left wondering what is happening while they search for his wife. The Wolf is left waiting to sunrise to find his latest prize – Red. We learn from the police that they want Morgan to be found and send out a team to bring her back and their suspect.
Questions are answered, you find out whether you were right or wrong with who you though the wolf was. An amazing series by this author that keeps you intrigued with each book.

My review for this one is going to be super brief because I don't want to inadvertently give any spoilers away. All I am going to say is that this series has been AMAZING from start to finish. It kept me guessing right up until the very end and ended up shocking the hell out of me as well. Therefore yours truly is going to give this book (and the entire series) two very HUGE thumbs up.
I did not see that coming. A very great series if you ask me. Loved the suspense and the constant wonder of who the wolf really was. Thank you so much, Belle, for the work you have done.

The thrilling conclusion
Very unpredictable in this final installment of The Game of Life. The clues were there, just had to put them together. This is the kind of book you read as installments, but put them all together as if they were one big novel, and it works either way. There are no discrepancies in the story, it flows well, from book one to book five. Brooks put together a well written, intense and sinister story.

Everything comes to a head in this installment of this eerie and highly climactic installment. Who is The Wolf? Will Reid find his wife… alive? All the answers could be found here and they sure weren’t pretty. While I was eagerly anticipating the release of this book, I found it to be over much too quickly. Everything was summed up too quickly but then again, I’m greedy. Without going into everything and ruining the plot of this extremely short book, I’ll tell you that many things are revealed in short order, such as the killer’s identity, the betrayals rife in this small town, and Reid NEVER gave up. Loved that man and his devotion to his wife. Amidst all of Morgan’s endless tears, his fight was something I could always count on. Overall, this series was amazing and if you love a great who-dunit full of psychological torture and mind games and fun, you’ll want to give this series a go!
