This book has everything I loved about Hat Trick Heart and more! You have three beautifully flawed men plus our literal girl boss Audrey Hamilton. Seeing the different relationships develop over the course of the book was wonderful and I loved how it connected to the characters from the first book! The spicy scenes were as emotional as they were steamy and were so well done! I highly recommend this series to all the why choose and hockey romance fans out there and even those who may be looking to explore those genres more, but please read the content warnings at the start of the book to do what is best for you!

“I never thought I'd be into voyeurism, but watching my two men enjoy each other is doing absolutely everything for me.”

Quick Summary 🖊️
When the past comes back to haunt her, Audrey has to make decisions on her love life and what’s best for her and her little boy.

Final Thoughts 💭
Thank you @ellamerkadowrites for giving me the honour to be a part of your team. HOWEVER I am fairly certain you wrote this with the goal to make me cry as much as possible.

As much as I loved the first book, I loved this one that much more. This one has my heart in a vice grip from the very beginning.

Power Play Pieces is OUT NOW!

Power play pieces is book two in the thunderclap series which are stand alone hockey romances focusing on a single friend group and hockey team from Florida. Just like with book one this was a steamy why choose romance, this time focusing on Audrey and her three stunning men.

Audrey is a single mom who had a hot and heavy one night stand five years ago and due to no names being exchanged she wasn’t able to inform baby daddy that he was the father. It’s fine though because Audrey has killed it these past five years being a fantastic mother to a wonderful baby boy. Even though she hasn’t been alone with the help of her group of friends that are more like family she has been missing romance in her life and decided it was time to get back out there. Not long after making this decision to start dating again she ends up in not one, not two, but three relationships. One of which being with baby daddy from many moons ago.

This story was a roller coster of emotions. I went from swooning to crying so many times I don’t know how Ella does it but I’m already desperate for her next book.

I also wanted to say something and I promise it’s review relevant . Me being asexual / demisexual is a huge part of my identity. When I was a teen and not sure why I was not interested in sex or sexually attracted to anyone I put myself in many situations that made me uncomfortable just to fit into a box that felt expected. I wish there was more information and understanding on what asexuality is when I was growing up, but I’m hoping with all the changes in diversifying queer content that we will see more and more improvements. Will is a character in this book who also is demisexual and reading about his experiences and his coming out was so emotional for me and I very much related to him and his story.

I hope you all love this book when you read it and definitely update me with your thoughts because I really want to talk about this one!
