It would have been a sweet young love story if not for the creepy "I own these lips" parts. I know teenagers can be cringey but those parts just completely took me out of the story and made me feel icky. I stopped halfway through and don't plan to continue.

4.5

okay so. in reality this book is a 4.5 for me but let me tell you why don’t attack me this is my opinion for all you rune stands out there.
can i say this book was soul shattering. like my heart completely bursted multiple times. starting from when they first met to when they finally met again. but let me tell y’all the roller coaster i went through with this book because it’s a lot, hold on tight.
okay so loved rune right. until his bad boy stage. when he started calling poppy a bitch, started grabbing her by her wrists. NOPE. huge turn off for me. also smoking is a huge turn off fyi just incase anyone is wondering.
so yeah idk how i feel about the whole good boy to bad boy to good boy again. again ROLLERCOASTER.
also i’ll be honest… i thought about dropping the book. DONT YELL AT ME. again the bad boy stage i HATED it. there are ways to do a bad boy mysterious character this one was a hit or miss for me. however i stayed for poppy i really did.
this book also taught me a lot about life like my annotations are insane. i cant want to listen to the playlist so i can get all my feels out. age range i would give this book is YA for sure. not too bad. also just mentioning there is talks about heaven, god, praying etc just in case anyone was wondering <3
