Vrij bizar boek. Het boek gaat met een noodvaart maar was toch een uitdaging om doorheen te komen. Het houdt niet op, gaat gewoon constant door. Geen tijd voor plot of context of het introduceren van karakters of wat je normaal in een boek zou verwachten.
Van de ene kant van Amerika en weer terug en weer heen. Karakters verschijnen en verdwijnen. Dean wordt steeds manischer, Sal eigenlijk ook.
Af en toe prachtige zinnen, en ergens knap hoe dit boek volstrekt gestoord was. Tegelijkertijd te moeilijk om door te komen, te plat en te seksistisch voor meer dan 2 sterren.
